Head out to the Sealine beach tomorrow Saturday 9 March 2013 for Lekhwiya’s (Internal Security Force) ‘Cultural Festival Day’ from noon to 7 pm at the Spring Tent of the National Olympic Committee, located after the Sealine beach resort, beside sand dunes.
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Committee of the Lekhwiya, the program is held as a part of the series of external activities conducted by the committee in the context of the ‘Lekhwiya Cultural Season 2013′.
The sports activities of the ‘Cultural Festival Day’ will consist of beach football, beach handball, beach wholly ball, billiard and tennis for the public.
Get ready for quiz competitions on religion, sports and general knowledge where winners will receive prizes. The electronic traffic awareness competition by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior will be one of the major attractions of the event, where the organising committee will issue instant prizes for the winners.
Children will enjoy games and entertainment facilities. The whole family will enjoy an evening of learning safety and security related matters. Visitors can also taste the Qatari traditional foods free of cost and an exhibition to showcase the equipments and arms used by Lekhwiya in its various operations.
